Autumn

Grab your (red, yellow, orange, brown, and green) crayons because we have a new leaf coloring page!  This one is perfect for Autumn or Thanksgiving. 

Thanksgiving is a great time to learn about the traditional food of Native Americas. Acorns have served as an important food source for many cultures including Native Americans.  They can be stored for a long time (as done by squirrels), and Native Americans sometimes collected enough acorns to store for two years. Print an acorn coloring page to go along with your Thanksgiving lessons.  We decorated our acorn with dried beans.

We are celebrating the arrival of Fall with this fun Autumn coloring page.  We decorated our tree with foam leaf shapes in harvest colors.  We found these cute foam shapes at Michaels ($2.99 for a pack of 200).
